The name of the reservation and the dates of your booking should be included in the e-mail. We will get back to you on the next weekday (or on the next business day while being away on leave) to let you know we will start the refund process (if any).
Please note :
+ Please use e-mail to let us know the cancellation (not WhatsApp or call).
+ We will start the refund process, based on the date and time you sent the cancellation notice by e-mail,
- according to the cancellation policy you agreed to,
- via the payment provider we used,
upon booking.
+ The refund process usually takes about 2 weeks till completing it on our side. The exact term you will get back the money depends on the credit company you used. We will let you know when we completed the process, and you can ask the exact timing to your credit card company.
About the bookings made via Airbnb and/or Kumanotravel.com, the cancellation procedure and policy will be subjected to the procedure and policy of each platform.
The house might not be safe enough for kids. In the case your group includes kids under 12 years old, please let us know in advance.
(Anyway, there is no discount for children.)

Currently we don’t accept solo hiker.
Kumano Kodo Nakahechi Route is known to be a quite safe and well signed route. However, these days some tourists underestimate the risk of KK hiking. Actually, a few tragical accidents occurred in the last few years along Kumano Kodo.
I think hiking with your mate is really important. Usually, solo hiker can find a walking mate of the next day at an accommodation. Komorian is a private rental style, and solo hiker cannot find any mate while staying.
Most of the guests who stayed at Komorian would know that the host is a worrier. (Worrier enough to decide not to accept solo hiker anymore for hiker’s safety.)

The confirmation e-mail will include a payment link of Square (payment provider) for you, which is effective for 48 hours. - Once you make the payment, the reservation procedure will be completed.

The pass code will be provided after the check-in.
However, the signals from cell phone companies like NTT-Docomo, Au or Softbank are not strong enough to talk trough cell phones, even outside the house.

Unfortunatly, No. The nearest super market is 50 minutes walk and the nearest convenience store LAWSON is more than 10 minutes by car from the house.
Instead, guests can recieve shuttle service for free.

- March, April, May and June of 2025 : from 1st Oct of 2024
- Septemper, October and November of 2025 : from 1st May of 2024.
※ The ingredients which can be eliminated are MEAT (and broth) and RAW FISH (sashimi) ONLY.
※ Any other ingredients such as FISH (and broth), SHELLFISH (and broth), GLUTEN, DAIRY PROCUCTS or EGG cannot be eliminated.
※ We cannot accommodate any restriction on the ground of allergy, intolerance or any other physical problem.
Salt, sugar and oil are prepared.
In the case you need any other seasonings like pepper and/or soy sauce, please ask the host. The host might be able to share her personal belongings.
