Bedroom
Each group is provided with a private room. In the tatami-floored Japanese room, futons are prepared for each guest, offering a level of comfort comparable to a mattress bed and highly praised by our guests. The room can be locked from the inside, allowing you to rest and relax with ease.

🥗 Dietary restrictions
We can prepare regular, pescatarian, and lacto-ovo vegetarian meals.
- Gluten-free, egg-free, and vegan meals are not available.
Ingredients we can remove if you tell us when booking (broth made from them is removed too):
- Meat: beef, pork
- Seafood: fish, raw fish (sashimi), shellfish, shrimp, clams and other bivalves
If two or more restrictions are combined, or if too many different menus are needed for your group, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
Please note: Japan is a country where people “eat everything”, so our regular menu is the most varied and flexible one.
Your reason for a dietary request can be religious, personal preference, or physical – any is fine. Please note, however, that cross-contamination cannot be fully avoided, so we cannot host guests with severe allergies.
🍙 Lunchbox
If you start walking from Takijiri on DAY 2 (Strong Hikers), the first restaurant along the trail is quite far, so we recommend bringing a lunch box. We can prepare a rice-ball lunch box for 1,000 JPY per box – please ask us after dinner the evening before and pay on site.
If you start from Takahara (Intermediate), there are restaurants between Takahara and Chikatsuyu / Tsugizakura where you can enjoy a freshly prepared lunch.

Check-in day: No luggage transfer is needed from the Kii-Tanabe area to Komorian. Since you won’t be hiking on your check-in day, please bring all of your luggage with you on the bus to Takijiri.

🚆 Trains to Kii-Tanabe 紀伊田辺
When traveling from Kyoto or Osaka to Kii-Tanabe Station, we recommend taking the Limited Express “Kuroshio.” You can check specific departure and arrival times on the Jorudan website.
Please note that the host of Komorian cannot check train times on your behalf, so we kindly ask you to confirm them yourself.
